Slot 1 - Universal - beautiful metalwork - has prescription. US$ 150.
Slot 2 - Christian Dior - 12KGF USA - Identical to similar Tura frame for Dior but Tura is not mentioned. Sold.
Slot 3 - A. Sutain - wonderful hexagon in horn acetate with laminated temples. US$ 250.
Slot 4 - A.A. Sutain - as above but different cutting. Occasionally we see frames marked A.A. Sutain instead of A. Sutain but no idea why. US$ 250.
Slot 5 - A. Sutain - Very nice horn aviator. US$ 250.
Slot 6 - Lumar USA - A very nice fabric lamination in a very unusual shape for Lumar. US$ 400.
Slot 7 - Victory Suntimer - very nice colour. US$ 300.
Slot 8 - E. Schiaparelli by American Optical - one of the first collaborations between frame factories and fashion designers and a piece of history. Has prescription but in very good shape. US1 600.
Slot 9 - A.A. Sutain. US$ 250.
Slot 10 - A. Sutain - A very nice shape in their signature horn material. US$ 250.
Slot 11 - A.A. Sutain - have not seen a more interesting US sunglasses than these. True beach glasses with sand, pearls, coral and seashells. US$ 400.
Slot 12 - A.A. Sutain - as above but with sand, diamonds, beach glass and pebbles. A masterwork. US$ 400.
Slot 13 - A. Sutain - similar family to the cream Bakelite materials above but a strange little undecorated shape. US$ 200.
Slot 14 - Unbranded but quite clearly Sutain, with flowers and diamonds. US$ 400.
Slot 15 - A. Sutain - with the rare artists palette metal logo inside temple. US$ 200.
